On a gloomy saturday afternoon, it seems as if Caffe Vero is a popular place to be. Caffe Vero identifies itself as an italian expresso bar on lark street. This new cafe is bustling with individuals from different walks of life, all of who seem to be de-stressing with a cup of coffee or in my case a cup of iced jasmine tea. Due to the inclement weather, it seems as if everyone who passes by the cafe or enters it chose to wear casual and comfortable clothes. Men who generally walk in are in jeans or khakis paired with a t-shirt and women seem to be dressed in jeans, jeggings, sweatpants paired with a t-shirt as well. In many instances, personality traits of many individuals can be conveyed via their sense of personal style. This correlation can be seen at Caffe Vero on a saturday afternoon.

Many a times, individuals reflect their personality traits and mood on the select items of clothing. One such example, would be in the selection of pants that are chosen. Jeans are by far the most common item of clothing seen this afternoon. Jeggings, the deceptive jeans as I call them are actually leggings. Jeggings give the viewer the deception of jeans. Women choose to wear jeggings due to the comfort and fashionability factor. The laid back personality as well as the sense of comfort is seen in many individuals who opt to wear jeggings instead of jeans. Men however who do not have jeggings as an option continue to wear jeans. Washed out jeans are particularly popularly today among all age groups of men seen at the cafe and outside. The dark, skinny jeans for men are only seen in one particular individual today who seems to be no more than 20 years of age. When selecting pants, particularly jeans it seems as if the individuals who are wearing jeans are more at ease today. Perhaps, the weather as well as the weekend may contribute to the laid back look of almost all individuals who pass by or enter Caffe Vero.

Another clothing item that can be seen in almost all individuals today is a sweatshirt. Sweatshirts are warm and can be layered with many other clothing items thereby explaining their popularity today. The gloomy weather today seems to bring about a lot of the laid back look from various individuals. For instance, a young lady who escapes to a cafe to study wears a sweatshirt for varied temperatures that she may pass through during her travels to and her time at the cafe. In addition, a middle aged woman seems to wear an attire of sweatpants and sweatshirt. The indication of a laid back saturday afternoon is clearly seen because of the choice of pure comfort clothes. T-shirt is another item of clothing that is found popular today on lark street. Many individuals seem to be wearing tee-shirts on jeans exhibiting a common theme of a casual look.

The different colors of t-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts seen today are usually gray, black, white or red. Gray, black and white are colors that are dull thereby reflecting the weather this afternoon accurately. The red jacket on a particular man caught my attention because red is a vibrant color. In addition, red is associated with confidence when worn. The addition of vibrant colors to a wardrobe signifies confidence, brightness and individuality for those particular individuals who choose to wear bright colors. In addition, depending on the type of clothing a bright color may add more to a personality type than just casual or laid back. A bright color on sweat pants may exhibit boldness of the individual.

At Caffe Vero there are many individuals that are seen that exhibit different styles. The common trends seen in personal style among different individuals are jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts. Jeans are seen as a common theme particularly because they exhibit the quality of being at ease. In addition, t-shirts and sweatshirts also exhibit a more laid back look for the particular individual. Personal style varies however, when observing different individuals at a distant the weather as well as the week of the day allow individuals to persuade a very similar style.
